Sublimation is a printing process for which you first need to print a“sublimation sheet”, which is then transferred onto fabric with a heat press.Over the last few years, we have accumulated many sublimation sheet scraps anddiscarded, unpublished contents that have been archived and stacked in largepiles and rolls. Over time, the ink faded and the stacked sheets merged intoone another, creating chaotic ink imprints that eventually blended into a newlayout. This series explores the material and tactile translation of thesepaper textures into textile, heat-pressed onto manipulated fabrics anddiscarded fibres.
